Our Members & Testimonials

What members are saying…

“I have been an NCADVS member for 13 years and feel my association with this organization was one of the best things I have done for my professional development. It has provided me with practical information regarding the administration of volunteer services in a changing healthcare environment, as well as support and guidance from my peers.”

-Carole Burns, Volunteer Director

“I am able to interact with many experienced and knowledgeable professionals who help ensure my volunteer program will shine. Thanks NCADVS!

-Eva Ponce de Shaw, Director Of Volunteer Services and Foundation Executive Director

“I enjoy being a member of NCADVS and serving as the Membership Chair for this term. We are a unique group of professionals and I find the benefits to be numerous. I feel challenged by our monthly board meetings with the talented and diverse group of leaders. I feel informed and supported by sharing case studies at our quarterly membership meetings. I feel enlightened by the terrific educational programs sponsored by both our regional and State level programs and annual (CAHHS) conference. In addition to all of the above, this is a very fun group with which to hang...”

-Kate McNally, Volunteer Coordinator

“From my very first experience with NCADVS in 1994, I was impressed with the group's collective generosity, enthusiasm, experience and wisdom. There's a "we're in this together, so let's share for the common good" mentality that is so enriching, and that fosters a professional model of which we can all be proud!”

-Denise Fritsch, Director, Food and Nutrition Services and Volunteer Services

“Membership with NCADVS provides me with numerous benefits: great camaraderie with others in my field; colleagues with years of experience, insight into the latest in volunteer trends, a broad view of the world of volunteer management, and career enhancement.”

-Kathleen Dolci, MA, Manager of Volunteer Services
